Atlanta FSC Testing Information

Application information

Applications must be completed online via the link above and must be submitted 21 days prior to the requested test date.  No paper applications will be accepted. Prospective test candidates must be members in good standing with their respective clubs to be eligible to test.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If your application is received after the deadline and the test session is full, your test will be rescheduled for the next session. Late applications may be accepted at the discretion of the Test Chair if the session is not full; skaters must pay 1-1/2 times the rate for the test.

Skaters retrying a test must wait 27 days after the original test date. For example, if you tested on May 1, you may not retry the test until May 28.

Skaters will be charged a convenience fee equal to 2.2% + $.30 per transaction on Visa, Mastercard, and Discover and 3.5% on American Express payments. Test fees are non-refundable.

Test day information

SKATERS ARE EXPECTED TO ARRIVE AT THE RINK ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THEIR SCHEDULED WARM-UP AND TEST. THE PUBLISHED TENTATIVE SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

In the event of inclement weather (hazardous road conditions, dangerous storms),the test session will be cancelled if Fulton County schools are closed.  If your school system is closed and Fulton County schools are open, the test session will be conducted, but the skater may be rescheduled.

All test results must be returned to the Test Chair of the host club at the conclusion of the test session in order to properly credit the completion of the test with U.S. Figure Skating.

Gold test applications

Gold test applications and fees must be processed 30 days prior to the test session. No refund or credit will be provided if the skater cancels a test session less than 14 days prior to the test session.

Reciprocal testing agreement

The Atlanta FSC enjoys a reciprocal testing agreement with the Georgia FSC, the FSC of Augusta, the Greenville (SC) FSC and the Birmingham (AL) FSC. Members of these clubs pay the testing fees of the club hosting the session. If you are a member of a club with a reciprocal testing agreement, you will be automatically charged the non-member fee, but will be refunded the difference. Skaters from other clubs are required to pay one and one half times the listed fee.
