Coming up August 21-24, the 2025 Atlanta Open is part of the US Figure Skating NQS competition series as well as offering non-qualifying events! Registration for NQS events opens in EMS on June 11th, 2025 at 12 PM Eastern. Registration for non-NQS levels starting with Pre-Preliminary Well Balanced Free Skate opens in EMS on June 18th, 2025 at 12 PM Eastern.

This year's theme will be "at the movies"! We hope you will join us! Every year, our skaters have so much fun showing off their amazing talent to family and friends and feel sad that it's over until the following year. AFSC will be going live on December 16, 2024 for registration. Registration closes on February 5th or when we reach maximum capacity. Skaters are allowed to enter both the Solo Dance Series under the Magnolia Open and the US Solo Ice Dance International Competition. Late Registration is February 7th , 2025 for $40 Magnolia Open and $75 for the US Solo Ice Dance International. Membership renewal is now open, and it's also a great time to join if you are new! Check out our membership types if you aren't sure which one suits you best. New members who have not yet passed a US Figure Skating test, we have a Bridge Membership which is a cheaper than a Full membership, but still allows you to test, which is a great benefit! The US Figure Skating membership year is July 1 - June 30, so make sure you renew in time for the 2024-2025 season!

Atlanta FSC is delighted to share that two of our adult skaters are coming home from Adult Nationals with medals! Wayne Freeman took fourth place (the pewter medal) in Masters Intermediate-Novice Men III-IV. D'Arcy Robb earned herself two first place gold medals; one in Adult Bronze Women II in what was a very tight field, and another in Adult Bronze Lyrical/Character/Comedic II-III where she was a full five points clear of the nearest runner up!
